Your Support

The world is filled with interesting and amazing people. Here at Culture, Arts & Music, we are always searching for ways to bring these amazing people to you. Whether it’s bringing together steelbands from around the country, bringing up a school of kids from Trinidad, inviting in a Brasilian jazz trio from the east coast, or featuring amazing local artists, CAM is always looking for that next immersive learning experience to share world diversity.

None of this is possible without your support. Please consider helping us bring some amazing cultural experiences to our community by becoming a CAM Culturati.

Featured Project

Our featured project right now is GLSF19. This is our seventh year for this annual event and we are really excited!

In August 2018, the steelpan world lost the father of the modern pan, Dr. Ellie Mannette. Ellie is not only the man responsible for most of the aspects of the steelpan as we know it today but he also directly impacted GLSF after being a guest at our inaugural event.

In addition to showing off the amazing talent of our students and visiting steelbands, we are honoring Dr. Mannette with some incredible guest artists from around the world. For GLSF19 our guests include:

  • Dave Longfellow – World-class educator and former student of Ellie Mannette
  • Sterling Betancourt – One of the original members of TASPO coming all the way from London to share his incredible story

All this excitement takes place at Creekside Middle School in Woodstock on April 13, at 7:00 PM.

Your support helps cover the costs of renting the space at Creekside Middle School, bringing artists out, housing artists, newly commissioned music, insurance, advertising, food for the guests, and more.
