Welcome to year six of the Great Lakes Steelpan Festival! In case you didn’t make it out the last few years, here are some things you missed:
* Ellie Mannette – The Father of Pan performing, sharing first-hand history, and teaching
* Gary Gibson – Performing and teaching
* Clyde “Lightning” George – Performing and teaching
* Kurry Seymour – Performing and teaching
* Freddy Harris III – Performing and teaching
* Gregory Boyd – Performing and teaching
* Hugh Borde – The man most responsible for bringing steelpan to the US
* Emile Borde – Performing and teaching
* Potts & Pans Steelband – Performing and teaching
* 80+ steelpans performing music written for the festival
This year we are featuring all local, Woodstock steelbands! The Earth, Wind & Fire Community Steelbands from Culture, Arts & Music, plus Creekside Middle School’s own steelband come together with Guest Artists Kurry Seymour, Gregory Boyd, The Original Delta Fireballs featuring Geneva Red, and your very own Potts & Pans Steelband! Come and enjoy the incredible energy of our music filling the room as these world-class performers gather here in Woodstock!
This is the biggest educational steelpan event in the midwest. You do not want to miss out on this!

The family-friendly evening concert starts at 7:00 pm. Tickets at the door are $15 for the concert, or purchase them now, online, for $10 here! Free admittance for children 6 and under.
